Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer 7.0

It’s finally here. Microsoft has released version 7.0 of the popular Internet Explorer web browser. I haven’t downloaded it yet, but I have tried beta and release candidates of IE 7.0, and although in the beginning it crashed frequently, I must admit that the latest release candidate was stable and very easy to use. Firefox has some real competition now, and I don’t expect the Internet Explorer team to sit back and relax now that they have released IE 7.0. Firefox’s growing share of the browser market has got the IE team alive and roaring. :) Competition is good.

I downloaded IE 7 yesturday. I did like the tabbed browsing but had that on FireFox for a long time already. IE 7 crashed 3 times yesturday and once this morning. Maybe it was the password manager that I added from Microsofts website.
