Google Checkout Launches

Google Checkout Logo
Google has announced Google Checkout, a checkout option that makes buying across the web fast and easy, that’s what Google says anyway. And I must admit, it is a very easy process. Add your items the shopping cart, and hit check out. Sign in with your Google Account (if you aren’t already), and click buy. Simple. The first time you buy something you will be asked to enter your credit card info, but then Google saves it for future use. Very nice. Starbucks Store, Levi’s, Dockers, Buy.com, and Timberland are among the online stores that are implementing the Google Checkout system. I set up a merchant account, and it also appears to be very slick. You can even enter a tracking number when you ship the package. I like simple things.
