Google Launches Google Calendar

Hurray!!! Finally, we get our Google Calendar!! I’ve been waiting on this for a looonnngg time! I’m impressed with it too, at least the little bit I’ve been using it soo far. I went ahead and tried to import my Outlook Calendar, and guess what?? No problems, at all. It imported everything just fine. You can add multiple calendars, and view them both at the same time in one calendar (each calendars appointments are a different color). You can also make your calendar public, and searchable by google. Wow!! I’m not sure I would want to do that,  but it would be cool if you didn’t mind everyone knowing your schedule. I just love it.. I’ve gotta go play with it some more, so I’ll be back later to post some more on it’s features. :-)

Update: If you try using IE 7 Beta to access Google Calendar, you get a message stating that Google Calendar doesn’t support this browser, but you can still click cancel to use it anyway, and it seems to work.

Update: You can also set the Google Calendar to Notify Me on My Cell Phone, for event reminders, new invitations, and so forth. Philipp Lenssen also has a good post on the Google Calendar.

Update: Google has officially announced Google Calendar.
